Job Title: Production Shift Supervisor

Location: Pudukottai
Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the production line runs efficiently during assigned shifts.

• Conduct shift handovers with detailed updates on production status, issues, and priorities.

• Monitor staff attendance and allocate duties to ensure optimal coverage.

• Oversee production schedules to meet output targets and deadlines.

• Ensure raw materials are available and equipment is functioning properly.

• Track key production metrics, such as downtime, yield, and quality rates.

• Ensure that all products meet established quality standards.

• Conduct spot checks on output and liaise with the Quality Assurance (QA) team for inspections.

• Address deviations or defects promptly and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure all operations comply with company safety policies and industry standards.

• Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

• Report and document any incidents, accidents, or safety violations immediately.

• Motivate and guide production staff to perform efficiently.

• Provide on-the-job training for new staff and identify skill development needs.

• Manage performance, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues to management when necessary.

• Maintain accurate production logs and shift reports.

• Communicate daily updates to senior management regarding production performance and challenges.

• Liaise with other departments (e.g., Maintenance, QA, Logistics) to ensure smooth operations.

Industrial Experience: 

• Minimum 2 years and above.

• 2 Months Probationary, after that will provide ESI/ EPF

• Qualification : 10 th and above.

Preferable : 

• In SIPCOT , 20 KM radius (or ) Residential accommodation (providing free) only apply.
