Job Title: Accountant

Responsibilities:
Accurately record all financial transactions in Tally Prime, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and bank entries related to polymer manufacturing operations.
Calculate and process taxes, including GST, VAT, and other applicable duties, in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
Generate GST reports from Tally Prime and assist in the filing of returns, ensuring timely tax compliance.
Prepare financial statements using Tally Prime, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet, reflecting the company’s polymer manufacturing operations.
Reconcile bank accounts using Tally Prime, ensuring that all transactions are correctly recorded and match the bank statements.
Process accounts payable and receivable entries in Tally Prime, ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers and collections from customers.
Generate payroll reports and ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as provident fund, ESI, and other labour laws.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and reports generated from Tally Prime.
Ensure that all accounting practices follow industry standards and comply with audit requirements.
Maintain organized records of financial documents, including invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and tax-related filings.
Ensure that all Tally Prime data is backed up regularly and stored securely for future reference and audit purposes.
Qualifications:
M.com or equalent Qualifications.
Hands-on experience in using Tally Prime for accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Familiarity with GST, VAT, and tax-related processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in tracking costs and inventory.
Good communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, procurement, sales).
Preferred Qualifications:
M.com or Equalent qualifications with Tally and knowing statutory compliances
Accounting Knowledge with 2 Years’ Experience
