Job Description


The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.


Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.


Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.

  • Set sales targets and monitor team performance to ensure goals are met.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address challenges.


Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

  • Address customer concerns promptly and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals.


Business Development


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that support sales efforts.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.


Sales Operations


  • Oversee the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and quotes.

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of sales data into the CRM system.

  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and supply chain teams to meet demand.


Reporting and Analysis


  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales processes and strategies.

  • Monitor customer and market feedback to inform product development.


Compliance and Ethics


  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Promote ethical sales practices and maintain a positive company image.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable strategies.

    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


  • Achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.

  • Growth in market share and customer base.

  • Team performance metrics, including individual sales targets.

  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.

  • Efficiency of sales processes and operations.

Qualifications and Skills


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Experience: Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Minimum 2 years and above.

  •  2 Months Probationary, after that will provide ESI/ EPF

  • Preferable : In SIPCOT , 20 KM radius (or) Residential accommodation (providing free) only apply.

  •  Willing to travel Day and Night (if necessary)
